The Seclusion of Enzo Ferrari

Oddly enough, Ferrari rarely attended races. He almost never saw his star drivers in action, Instead, he watched races on his office television with his old Modena friends, occasionally phoning instructions to the team manager. His absence only amplified his power, casting him as an Oz-like figure of authority.

  1. He didn't like to see beautiful machines abused - "dying" I beleive he called it.
